Chef Jesse Miller, a former art school student, found his calling as a chef after working in various restaurants to pay for his studies. He rose to prominence as the head chef at one of Washington D.C.'s beloved joints, Bar Pilar, where he offered a constantly changing menu of simple yet adventurous Modern American dishes, influenced by Asian and Peruvian cuisine. With a worldly approach to cooking, Jesse studied different styles and techniques and always stayed informed of new trends in food. After leaving Bar Pilar, Jesse opened Pennyroyal Station in 2020, which has gained a lot of praise since it's opening. Jesse is a beloved member of the Food & Fun family and has participated in events in Iceland and Finland, where he took a top spot in 2017. His colorful cooking is sure to please guests' palates.
