ADAM DAHLBERG

Swedish chef and restaurateur Adam Dahlberg currently runs three restaurants in Stockholm, each reflecting a distinct expression of his cooking. Together with partner Albin Wessman, he has led the Michelin-starred restaurant Adam/Albin since 2016. His Japanese bistro Misshumasshu opened in 2018, followed by Solen in 2023 — a lively, produce-driven brasserie located in Stockholm’s historic meatpacking district.

Solen and Lola share a common culinary spirit: relaxed yet precise cooking, bold flavours, and a strong sense of place. The collaboration also has a personal foundation. Lola’s head chef Siggi and Adam competed against each other in the Bocuse d’Or, representing their respective countries in 2012 and 2013.

With this shared background and mutual respect, it felt natural to invite Adam to Lola for a guest appearance, where he will cook selected dishes from Solen together with Siggi and the Lola team — a meeting of kitchens, philosophies, and long-standing camaraderie.

Lóla is a new restaurant located at Tryggvagata 11, right by the harbor in downtown Reykjavík, which opened in the spring of 2025. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful building featuring large arched windows that give the space its unique character. At Lóla, we find inspiration in diverse flavor combinations and create dishes that excite us, and hopefully you as well. We love to experiment and approach our cooking with a sense of freedom and fun, with roots deeply planted in Italian cuisine. Lóla is a place where we aim to create cozy moments, a great atmosphere, and fond memories. It is a place where food, drink, and joy come together, making good times even better.
