The Reykjavik EDITION is thrilled to announce world-renowned Diego Muñoz as its guest chef for Iceland’s annual Food and Fun Festival from February 25th to March 1st, 2026. Diego will bring his Peruvian influences to Iceland, taking over the hotel’s signature restaurant TIDES, to create a menu using Icelandic ingredients.

Diego, who is at the helm of the restaurant and rooftop bar, Oroya, at The Madrid EDITION, will work with the freshest, seasonal, and sustainable Icelandic ingredients to develop a specially curated menu to be served in Tides for Food and Fun. Diego Muñoz belongs to the generation of Latin American chefs who trained around the world to later return to their homeland to explore native produce and techniques. Through his cuisine, Diego nurtures heritage, unlimited creativity, recognition of local producers, and multicultural influences.
