Chef Athanasios Kargatzidis's culinary journey began over 25 years ago, sparking a lifelong passion for food and restaurants. This exploration has taken him across the globe, cooking, researching, and honing his craft, culminating in the creation of BARON, a renowned restaurant in Lebanon and the MENA region, recognized among the World's 50 Best Restaurants for the past four years. His latest venture, BARON Doha, earned a Michelin Guide listing within its first six months. Athanasios champions "fusion cooking," prioritizing flavor and texture over strict adherence to tradition and provenance. Now, he’s bringing his signature concept to Ericeira, Portugal, with COSTA FRIA. There, he blends the finest coastal Atlantic produce with the technical prowess of Mediterranean cuisine, creating an energetic and irresistible dining experience unlike any other.

Sumac Grill + Drinks is led by Chef Thráinn Freyr Vigfússon and culinary partner and Head chef Eyþór Freyr Haraldsson, together creating an Icelandic cuisine seduced by flavors and flair from the coastline of North Africa to Lebanon – yet with the quintessential Reykjavik mood.
